Our History

University of Maryland Eastern Shore Philadelphia Alumni Chapter was chartered on April 30, 2022 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Ted McIntosh, President, Kimberly Carrington, 1st Vice President, Janell Jones, 3rd Vice President, Sydney Rolle-Stern, Recording Secretary, and Julie Allen-Nelson, Treasurer. The chapter's previous charter dissolved many years before. The chapter is comprised of alumni and associates in the Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and surrounding counties of Pennsylvania. The mission of the chapter is to support students, uplift small businesses, and strengthen community networks—advancing our alma mater and alumni connections.
