As President of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Philadelphia Alumni Chapter, it is my sincere honor to welcome you. Leading this enthusiastic and dynamic community of Hawks is both a privilege and a responsibility I carry with deep pride.​ UMES has played a transformative role in shaping our journeys, and our chapter is committed to carrying that legacy forward. Together, we uplift one another, support current and future students, champion local small businesses, and cultivate a strong, connected network rooted in service, pride, and shared success.​ I encourage you to get involved in our chapter’s efforts. Whether you're seeking mentorship, fellowship, professional growth, or simply a space to reconnect, this chapter is your home. We are building lasting relationships and inspiring future generations, including our family and friends, to experience and support the excellence of our beloved alma mater.​​

Help Us Continue Our Mission!
In the Summer 2025, we were able to assist a student from the Philadelphia area with a scholarship to help cover a back bill so that she could return to UMES for the Fall 2026 semester. This is just one major example of how your money can help. Donations can also help us cover our community outreach events. Community means a lot to our chapter and because of that we are very active with local charities. Your donations will also help us to help families in need around the holidays.
